The horticulture industry certainly recognizes the importance of constant innovation and new plant introductions.  Wholesale plant producers are always interested in new plant introductions to stay relevant with changing trends and to identify improvements in older varieties.  This is where we come in.  We licenses the rights to produce and sell patented plants we manage and, in exchange for these rights, wholesale producers pay a royalty to us for each plant sold.  We then split this royalty with the breeder.

The cost will depend on the type of protection but, in many cases, there isn't any out-of-pocket expense for our partner breeders.
